Before you connect
- Capability areas over the Klaviyo API: Profiles, Lists, Segments, Events, Catalogs, Campaigns, and Flows.
- Agent-mode auth uses the Klaviyo-specific scheme 'Authorization: Klaviyo-API-Key <key>' — NOT a standard Authorization: Bearer header.
- Private API Key scopes are least-privilege: read-only scopes (e.g. Segments/Catalogs/Campaigns/Flows Read) allow queries; Full scopes are required for mutations. Grant only what the connection needs.
- OAuth is the recommended user-mode path; Ferentin discovers OAuth metadata from the endpoint at connect time.
