Ferentin operates primarily as a data processor on behalf of customers. Customer content processed through the Service (such as prompts, files, API responses and integration data) is governed by our Master Services Agreement (MSA), not this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ferentin, Inc. (“Ferentin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with our website and our AI security and routing platform (the “Service”).
1. Roles and Scope
Ferentin provides a multi‑tenant AI routing and security platform used by organizations to connect users, applications, AI models and external tools.
- Customers are the data controllers of Customer Data
- Ferentin is the data processor of Customer Data
This Privacy Policy applies only to personal information we collect directly about individuals (such as account administrators, website visitors and billing contacts). It does NOT govern Customer Data processed on behalf of customers.

- Organization
- Role or job title
- Authentication identifiers (e.g., SSO identifiers or public passkey credentials)
B. Billing and Transaction Information
- Billing contact details
- Payment metadata (processed by payment providers)
C. Usage and Technical Information
- IP address
- Device and browser information
- Log events necessary for security, availability and fraud prevention
- Support communications
D. Website Data
When you visit our website, we may collect data through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your consent where required. See Section 3 (“Cookies and Tracking Technologies”) for details.
4. Customer Data (Processed Data)
Ferentin processes Customer Data solely on behalf of customers under contractual instructions. Customer Data may include prompts, files, tool outputs and integration content.
Ferentin does NOT:
- Use Customer Data to train general‑purpose AI models
- Sell Customer Data
- Access Customer Data except to provide support or maintain the Service
Customers are responsible for determining what data they submit to the Service and for complying with applicable laws governing such data.
5. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and secure accounts
- Authenticate users and administrators
- Operate and maintain the Service
- Analyze website usage to improve our site and services (with consent)
- Protect against spam, fraud and abuse
- Provide support
- Send service‑related communications
- Meet legal obligations
6. Subprocessors and Third Parties
Ferentin uses service providers to operate the Service, including:
- Cloud infrastructure providers
- AI model providers
- Identity providers
- Payment processors
- Support and monitoring tools
- Google LLC: website analytics (Google Analytics) and anti‑abuse (reCAPTCHA)
These providers process data only under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Security Measures
Ferentin maintains administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Tenant isolation
- Access controls and authentication protections
- Monitoring and logging for security events
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for business, legal and security purposes. Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration and is subject to Google's data retention policies.
Customer Data retention is governed by the MSA and customer configuration. Upon termination, Customer Data is deleted according to contractual retention timelines.
9. International Transfers
Data may be processed in locations where Ferentin or its subprocessors operate. We use contractual safeguards and security measures to protect transferred data, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
10. Individual Rights
Depending on location, individuals may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Requests should be sent to: privacy@ferentin.com
Requests regarding Customer Data must be directed to the customer organization controlling the data.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website. If we make changes that affect how we use cookies or tracking technologies, we will request fresh consent where required.
