| signature | Not rated |
| aow_manage | Elevated |
| adm_store_unified_repo_read | Read |
Before you connect
- Open Beta — available on developer (demo) and production accounts.
- OAuth scopes: 'signature' (send/sign envelopes), 'aow_manage' (Maestro workflows), 'adm_store_unified_repo_read' (Navigator agreement data). PKCE (S256) and refresh tokens are supported. The token endpoint uses HTTP Basic authentication (client_secret_basic).
- Demo/developer accounts: override the endpoint to https://mcp-d.docusign.com/mcp and set the OAuth authorize/token URLs to account-d.docusign.com.
- Do NOT use the 'impersonation' scope or JWT grant — that is the community JWT server, not this official Authorization-Code remote server.
1 more technical note
- The tool catalog populates on first live connection (tools/list against the upstream).

Frequently asked about Docusign
- What can AI agents do with Docusign through Ferentin?
- Through Ferentin, agents can use Docusign for send envelope, track status, manage templates, retrieve documents and list envelopes. Every call is checked against your Ferentin policies first.
- How is Docusign access secured?
- Requests through the Docusign integration are covered by OAuth 2.0 consent, granular scope selection and audit logging. These controls are applied by Ferentin, not by Docusign, so they hold across every connected agent.
- What permissions does the Docusign integration require?
- The Docusign integration requests 3 OAuth 2.0 scopes: signature; aow_manage (elevated access); adm_store_unified_repo_read (read access)
- How do I connect Docusign to Ferentin?
- Open the Ferentin admin console, add Docusign as a new connection and authenticate with OAuth 2.0. You then choose which permissions and which tools your agents may use, and the connection goes live for everyone covered by your policies.
- Is the Docusign integration generally available?
- Yes. The Docusign integration is generally available on Ferentin, including the free tier.
