Before you connect

  • Vercel MCP is OAuth-only — there is no API-key or agent-token mode. Each connection has the same access as your Vercel user account.
  • Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) is automatic; there is no client ID/secret to enter (credential inheritance: ALLOW_INHERIT).
  • Some tools are destructive: buy_domain purchases a domain and deploy_to_vercel ships a deployment. Enable human confirmation for tool execution.
  • OAuth scopes requested: openid, offline_access (offline_access enables refresh tokens).
