Overview

The AWS Knowledge MCP Server is Amazon Web Services' public, no-authentication remote MCP endpoint for AWS technical knowledge: documentation, API references, best practices, regional availability, and agent skills.

Ferentin integration

Ferentin connects to the AWS Knowledge MCP server with no credentials (public endpoint). All five tools are read-only. A per-IP rate limit of ~1 request / 15 seconds applies, so pace multi-call workflows.

Frequently asked about AWS Knowledge

What can AI agents do with AWS Knowledge through Ferentin?
Ferentin exposes 5 AWS Knowledge MCP tools to your AI agents, grouped as Discover (2 tools) and Access (3 tools). Every call is checked against your Ferentin policies before it reaches AWS Knowledge.
How does Ferentin secure AWS Knowledge access?
Requests through the AWS Knowledge integration are covered by read only and no credentials required. These controls are applied by Ferentin, not by AWS Knowledge, so they hold across every connected agent.
How do I connect AWS Knowledge to Ferentin?
Open the Ferentin admin console, add AWS Knowledge as a new connection and authenticate with the vendor credentials. You then choose which permissions and which tools your agents may use, and the connection goes live for everyone covered by your policies.
Is the AWS Knowledge integration generally available?
Yes. The AWS Knowledge integration is generally available on Ferentin, including the free tier.
